Pulling out a science week, I'm providing you with something a little more practical. This info-graphic on the symptoms of a snakebite may just save your life if you and your friend are out in the wilderness.
I have to apologize that I haven't been commenting on any of your blogs the last day or two. I've been with my girlfriend over the weekend and that takes priority of course. However, tonight I'm back in full action.
Very informative. I should print this out and take it with me the next time I decide to venture outside somewhere without pavement and concrete.

Much like Indiana Jones, I hate snakes.

ReplyDeleteI hate snakes. But new advise is to not suck the venom out. Wrap something thick above the wound, tight but not tight and constricting like a tourniquet to slow the blood flow and get to the hospital.
