Coming off of science week I've decided I like week theme ideas. I may not do them every week but I've decided that this week will be wilderness survival week. Therefore, I give you an info-graphic on how to shoot fish in the shallows if you need food but don't have a rod or net. Enjoy.
Could be handy one day...
ReplyDeleteFirst I need to learn how to shoot a crossbow
ReplyDeleteHow our ancestors did it!

This will be useful for when I randomly find myself in the wilderness, alone. Most likely after I've been abducted by aliens.

To everyone thinking about crossbows: crossbows are for pussies. Get a longbow or something.
ReplyDeleteWhen doing this you should keep in mind that the water distorts the light that comes through the surface.
A lot harder than it looks. Looking forward to wilderness survival week, I go out camping in the middle of nowhere quite often, so I can guarantee I'm going to use most of this information.
ReplyDeletethis only really works if you already have a bow though. I'll just stick to the grizzly bear method and smack them fish out of the water
