Number of Deaths in Iraq

I post this info-graphic today in order to contrast the graphic I posted yesterday about D-Day. Please keep in mind. D-Day was one battle. This graphic covers an entire war.

  6. The thing that strikes me is the contrast with D-Day... and how these days we have no appetite for conflict and loss of life. I think (and worry) that we would be unable to move back to total war if need be...

  7. This is why Iraq is being referred to as the vietnam of the 21st century. All those lives lost, and such little difference being made...

  9. While this infographic may be sad, it is good to have the truth. I'm glad I found your blog, because if I hadn't, I wouldn't have found these bits of useful information. I am also on a mission to give information to people. Mostly science related, but I've always found science of great interest.
